We catalyze climate leadership across Canada’s screen sector by helping producers lead the adoption of sustainable production practices, advance climate-conscious storytelling, and drive the transition to a clean, decarbonized industry.

Board of Directors

Marsha Newbery
Marsha Newbery is an award-winning producer and 25+ year veteran of the Canadian screen industry. She is the former VP of Sustainability & Business Affairs at Thunderbird Entertainment and the founder and Executive Director of Producing for the Planet.
Clara George
Clara is an award-winning Vancouver television producer and sustainability leader. She has served on the BC Reel Green Committee and chaired DGC National’s Sustainability & Climate Action Committee. Clara created the Power Budgeting Tool and contributes to Reel Green, Clean Energy, and the PGA Green Task Force.
Florence Girot
Florence is an award-winning documentary producer and strategic partner for decision-makers in the screen industry for 20+ years. She has collaborated with international players like FIAPF, Disney, and the CMF. She supports the international festivals community as FIAPF's Festivals Senior Director and shares her knowledge with students in Canada and France.
Jennifer Sandoval
Jennifer is an Eco Supervisor and Sustainability Consultant with experience across Canada, the U.S., and internationally. She has led and taught for Reel Green and Ontario Green Screen, co-chairs the National Reel Green Committee, advises BCIT’s Sustainable Business Leadership program, and currently serves as Sustainability Coordinator for HBO Max.

Tony is GPM's SVP of Finance, responsible for corporate and production finance, accounting and taxation and is an important member of GPM's strategic leadership team.
Karen Malone
LittPark Sustainability Consultancy
Karen is a Corporate Social Responsibility and sustainability leader with 20+ years’ experience in reporting standards, climate regulation, and risk management. She has shaped strategies for major Canadian brands and trained 450+ executives across 25 industries in governance, disclosure, and climate systems.

Marsha Newbery is an award-winning producer and 25+ year veteran of the Canadian screen industry. She is the former VP of Sustainability & Business Affairs at Thunderbird Entertainment and the founder and Executive Director of Producing for the Planet.
Sophie Camp
Program Manager
Sophie Camp holds a BSc in Environmental Sciences from the University of Guelph and has supported screen industry sustainability initiatives across Ontario and British Columbia before joining Producing for the Planet full-time in 2025.
Angelica Siegel
Program Manager
Angelica Siegel has been with P4P since 2024 and is the co-author of the Greening the Screen action guide for producers. She is also Sustainable Communications Manager for Film & TV at Cream Productions and an instructor in sustainable production with the DGC.
